It’s time again for corn mazes, haunted houses, and scary decorations! Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays, there’s so much festivity and excitement to be had.
Admittedly as the years have gone by, and even as haunted houses continue to up the ante, I find that I am less scared of the horrors inside because I’ve found something that I’m even more afraid of (you probably saw this coming), cyber criminals!
Unlike the Haunted Houses that only come around once a year, cyber criminals never stop their campaigns of horror. Hidden behind layers of anonymity, it’s difficult to unmask the criminals and organizations they work for. The methods used, much like those Haunted Houses, grow more complex and terrifying as time goes on. But just like the ending of your favorite scary movie, we always find a way to fight them off, only for them to come back another day…
