Whenever I’m at the airport ready to board my flight, my mother always calls to say “Safe travels!” to which I respond, “I don’t really have much to do with that!”.
Any time I step on the plane, I’m putting my trust in the whole crew to get to the destination safely. It’s common to hop on and off planes without thinking about all the work that goes into ensuring the whole process is safe and easy. Behind the scenes, a vast army of professionals are working to orchestrate hundreds of thousands of flights daily, from the engineers building and maintaining the planes, all the way to the pilots and crew – there’s a reason it’s the safest way to travel!
The systems in place for simplifying something as complex as flying a plane can also be observed in a variety of successful businesses. For our team, I’m the pilot helping our clients navigate their technology needs while our engineers keep the ‘plane’ safe and operational and our account team makes sure the ride is smooth and accommodating. We do our very best so that our clients can relax and have a safe flight!
