This summer especially we’ve been doing our best to really soak in the great weather and appreciate the sunny days. We’ve been spending a lot of time at the campground with friends and family having a relaxing, socially-distanced time, enjoying everyone’s company. One thing that makes our get-together unique is definitely my tendency to cook a LOT of food. Everyone at the campground knows when the Creeks are running the smoker!
A part of me has always loved to make sure everyone is well fed and having a great time, that’s where my habit of cooking copious amounts of BBQ comes in. Just the other weekend I had cooked around 40lbs of brisket that fed the entire campground; everyone fell asleep earlier than usual that night. We even had leftovers for the next days from that, but it’s always better to come prepared than to come up short and there’s a lesson in everything, even barbecue.
Whether I’m the BBQ Pit Master at the campground or CEO / Cyber Security Architect at Dura-Tech, my goal is always to be prepared and utilize our expertise to bring it all to the table for our clients and friends; showing appreciation to them by providing quality work and delivering more than expected.
